Seasons

I'm know the seasons are dictated by the rotation of the earth around the sun, yada dada do, but why not.....?

Summer - Memorial Day - Labor Day
Fall - Labor Day - Thanksgiving
Winter - Thanksgiving - Easter
Spring - Easter - Memorial Day

Doesn't that make more sense? Discuss.
